November 25th, 2009October/ November, what a busy time for weddings!

During October / November we rang our beautiful Wedding Bells at some amazing venues covering all type of ceremonies.

On a windy but sunny Saturday in early October, we were at Summerland House (House with No Steps) at Alstonville where the groom arrived by Helicopter (courtesy of Air T&G Ballina, www.airtg.com.au) on the front lawns near the newly built boardwalk. A very moving ceremony was conducted by Karen Nurthen in the main gardens which were beautifully decked out in white flags. The Wedding Bells rang out to greet the bride and again at the end of the ceremony to celebrate the marriage.

Another special wedding during October was held at The Villa (Nerang, Gold Coast) where our Bells were positioned next to a small lake in the middle of a golf course. Once again, a helicopter delivered the Groom to the venue but this time with all of his groomsmen and landed on the Golf Course. The Bride entered the property in the ultimate of romance, a horse drawn carriage, to the sound of our Wedding Bells which continued to ring out as she travelled across the golf course to a flowing white marquee which was set up on the 18th green. After the announcement of the newly married couple, the Bells rang out in celebration as they set off to have their photo’s taken.  Needless to say, this was a lovely and elegant wedding.

We also had an amazing day at Rae’s at Wategos Beach in Byron Bay (www.raes.com.au) . We rang the Bells as the Bride and her Bridesmaids walked down from the stunning Rae’s property, along the road and onto the beach opposite.  Table Jewels from the Gold Coast (www.tablejewels.com.au ) had come down to Byron Bay to dress the restaurant at Rae’s for the reception and also created a gorgeous setting for the ceremony on the beach. Very classy and beachy at the same time! The sound of Bells on a sea breeze was spine tingling as they rang out at the end of the ceremony to congratulate the newly married couple.

These were just some of our highlights during October/ November but rest assured, all of the weddings we rang our Bells at were special and of course, I think that Wedding Bells helped to make them more so.
