What a day it was on Sunday 15^th March at the Ballina Bridal Fair for 2009. Sunny and warm with a light breeze, the day was a spectacular success with an even greater number of visitors than in past years.

A fantastic first was the “Fantasy Wedding” that was staged to close the day. This entailed a helicopter arrival of the bride, our beautiful bells ringing to announce her plus examples of the celebrant conducted ceremony, finished off with doves flying into the balmy afternoon. All of this was set up on the river bank with flags, flowers, chairs etc to look just like your fantasy garden wedding. We then rang the bells again, just as we would at a real wedding, at the completion of the ceremony. Magical!

Interest in our Wedding Bells is at an all time high as every bride seeks something dramatic and beautiful for her wedding, something that is also truly memorable but is also moving and romantic. Our booking calendar is getting very full so please get in touch with us as soon as you can to secure your wedding date.

For all of you who missed seeing and hearing us at Ballina, the next Bridal Fair/ Expo that we will attend will be at the Gold Coast Art Centre on Sunday 14^th June.

We’ve just received an exciting product that is the perfect addition to your wedding ceremony or reception. Wedding Bubble Bells are cute little bubble blowers shaped like a bell. Gold Coast Arts Centre

Sunday 11^th January was the day of the first big Bridal Expo’s in the region for 2009 and what a day it was! Our Wedding Bells were positioned in a fantastic spot right near the front entrance where all who attended could both see and hear them ring out beautifully. Gorgeous weather welcomed the in excess of 800 brides and their families, all seeking that special something for their wedding.

The reaction was overwhelming for us as everyone declared that our Wedding Bells had the real “WOW” factor they were seeking for their wedding. The Wedding Bells were such a big hit that many brides booked us on the day to ensure they did not miss out on having the Bells at their ceremony. Plus we’ve now got a long list of people to follow up with once they have their wedding date and venue selected. Very exciting and we’re delighted that we’ll be seeing so many of the lovely brides that we met on Sunday again on their wedding day when we ring the bells to celebrate their special day.

Thanks to all who came along to talk to us, it was lovely meeting you (if you are reading this!) and we hope that our Wedding Bells are soon joyfully ringing especially for you at your wedding.

The gathered family and friends formed an aisle-way on the beach for Katrina and her wedding party to walk along, creating a very moving moment. All the while, the wedding bells pealed out to greet them, only stopping as the bride met her groom and the noted local celebrant, Zenith Virago.

At the end of the ceremony, with the sound of the Pacific Ocean in the background, the wedding bells pealed again joyously to celebrate Katrina & Marcus becoming man and wife.

A wedding to remember.

Saturday 11^th October was a rainy and fairly overcast day. But nothing could take the shine off the wedding of Krystal and Tim’s wedding at Coolibah Downs in Nerang (Gold Coast). This is a lovely venue for a wedding, picture perfect grounds and a great reception area.

We greeted Krystal’s arrival in a horse drawn carriage at the beautiful stone chapel with a heart stirring wedding peal of bells. She looked absolutely stunning!

After the romantic and intimate ceremony, the wedding bells pealed again joyously to announce them as man and wife.

A gorgeous way to start married life! Congratulations to Krystal and Tim from the team at Bellistic Celebrations.

A great time was had by all who attended the inaugural Lismore Wedding Expo, held at the Turf Club on Woodlawn Road on Sunday 24^th August. The weather was very kind to us, a lovely, almost spring day that brought lots of brides, grooms and families out to view the exhibitors.

We were outside the main expo building, positioned on the manicured lawns that are also the location for Wedding ceremonies at the Turf Club. This allowed us to showcase our beautiful wedding bells and to play not only the traditional wedding peal but also some of the other tunes that we have available. A crowd favourite was “Can’t Help Falling in Love” along with “Love me Tender” and “Unforgettable”.

NBN News recorded the wedding bells and used them in their feature on the expo that was aired in the 6 o’clock news that night. We hope you saw it, but for those of you who missed it, we’ve included a link below to the NBN site.

We understand that the Lismore Turf Club collected a good sum (entry to the expo was a gold coin) of money which will be donated to the Cancer Council. A very good cause indeed.

Bells at Byron Bay Lighthouse 18^th July 2008

Friday 18^th July was a spectacular winter’s day and the evening was even better. As the sun sank behind Mt Warning, the moon rose over the ocean and the bells rang out with “Happy Birthday”!

We were at Cape Byron Lighthouse to celebrate the 70^th birthday of the winner of a competition draw that we held on Bay FM in April this year. A more beautiful evening could not be imagined. The sound of the bells, resonating over the light breeze and out to sea, created a magical moment for everyone to hear.

UPCOMING WEDDING EXPO AT LISMORE

For all of you who are planning to get married soon, put Sunday 24^thAugust in your diary. A boutique wedding expo will be held at the Lismore Turf Club, Woodlawn Rd Lismore between 10am and 3pm.

Entry is just a gold coin donation. The expo is supporting the Cancer Council.

Come see and hear us ring our wedding bells there, we’ll be outside with the wedding cars.

Sunday 1^st June 2008 was a rainy autumn day, but for those who attended the Summerland Sunrise Rotary Bridal Expo at the Workers Club in Goonellebah it was the perfect opportunity to plan their wedding day.

Almost 200 people visited the many exhibitors which included marriage celebrants, wedding dresses, hats and veils, wedding limousines, balloons, florists, wedding cakes, stationery and reception venues. There was some beautiful jewellery on display as well as experts in makeup/ cosmetics to ensure that the bridal party look their absolute best on the day. Hope I haven’t missed anyone out!

The Wedding Bells were positioned just outside the expo doors so that our beautiful bells could be heard ringing by all who attended. Interest was very high as mobile bells are such a new concept and everyone we spoke to agreed that they really add a special touch of romance to weddings.

So, if you were one of the attendees, it was lovely to meet you and hope that your wedding day is the most memorable day in your life. And that we are there to share it with you!!

Don’t forget, all bookings that are made from seeing us at the expo in Goonellebah will be at the special price given on the day. Get in quick though as we only have one bell unit and we are filling our diary fast.
